If you signed up with the National Do Not Call Registry when the service opened its doors in 2003, it’s time to re-register. Registration expires after five years. You can re-register anytime, even if your five years aren’t up.

You might keep in mind as you read this, the current effects of the drug resistant strains of viruses. They have been at least partially caused by the same spirit of profit maximization over in the pharmaceutical industry. OK, lets be honest and call it what it is, greed.

One of the rolling accommodators is the U.S. agriculture department, which has been especially servile to Monsanto and other biotech giants involved in messing with the very DNA of our foods and feed crops. Monsanto makes a weedkiller called Roundup, but in addition to killing weeds, this toxic stuff also tends to kill the very crops that the weeds are crowding out. (more…)
